Sabrina Featherstone

Having studied music both in France (Paris, Orléans) and in the UK (London), Sabrina is now a Freelance musician based in Cardiff, Wales. She has had the opportunity to perform with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Bristol Ensemble, the Orchestra de Cymru and other ensembles and orchestras in the UK and in France. 

Before studying under Lynda Coffin, Anna Noakes and Alan Baker and graduating from Trinity College of Music (London) in July 2010 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance, Sabrina obtained several ‘Premiers Prix’ with distinction in Flute Performance, Chamber Music and Music Theory at the Orléans and Créteil Conservatoires (France).

In 2008, her interest in music education enabled her to obtain a Flute Teaching Qualification in Paris - ‘Diplôme d'Etat de Professeur de Flute’ - and she has been enjoying teaching the flute both privately and in schools including Queen's Preparatory School for Girls and Queen's College - Harley Street London and more recently, St Clare's School in Porthcawl.

Sabrina has led various music summer camps and taught toddler music at l'Ecole des Petits and La Petite Ecole Française (London). She has recently undertaken a Biblical Counselling course alongside her musical career.
